Culture Calls

Culture@3 was started in March 2020 by Taryn Sacramone of Queens Theatre, who was then Acting Chair of the Cultural Institutions Group (CIG). They are facilitated by several cultural leaders including NY4CA’s Executive Director Lucy Sexton. Any NYC-based cultural non-profit organization is welcome to join. Elected officials and friends in government regularly join the calls.

NY4CA’s Advocacy call spun off of the Culture@3 calls as a time to focus on actions and advocacy in support of culture. Friends in government do not attend in order for us to speak and engage in advocacy issues more effectively. Anyone in the cultural field is welcome: individual artists and culture workers, nonprofit organizations, for profit cultural businesses, and more.
